Why I Do This

At twelve years old, recovering from illness under the branches of a black walnut tree, I held a pink camera and made a quiet promise to myself: I would witness and share God's beauty. Not waiting for someday when I had more. Not for those who could afford it. For every heart that hungered for beauty.

Life, of course, had other plans. A degenerative nerve disease. Blurred vision. The one thing that had saved me felt impossibly far away.

But faith has a funny way of returning you to your purpose.

In 2019, I picked up the camera again. Every trembling attempt, every imperfect capture, every moment of grit and hope taught me something: The most powerful images aren't the ones that are technically perfect—they're the ones that come from a place of sacred intention.

I realized my real mission wasn't to create beautiful pictures. It was to create a bridge between the divine and the everyday—and to make sure that bridge was accessible to everyone.
